Ames Mansion Tours

Explore the history of the estate of Oakes and Blanche Ames while supporting Friends of Borderland State Park! Volunteer tour guides will tell the story of Oakes and Blanche Ames, the mansion and their love of nature. Only the Friends Mansion tours explore all three fully furnished floors, so don't miss your chance to discover the Ames Mansion.

Tours run every 30 minutes, and each tour has a maximum of 15 people. For all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult. Tours are $10 per person, children and members are FREE. Tickets for tours are sold only on the day of the tour in the Ames Mansion Gift Shop beginning at 11:30am. Rain or shine.
